Heres the rig: http://img345.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0085112au.jpg

Heres the Audio: http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=33SIL4C7F1GGY2CU2HG1JCL21V

Info: I'm only using 2 overheads for this recording...my only prob so far is the high set of octobans' rims are flush with the head but the low set has regular rims and I keep hitting the rims when I switch between...oh well just need more practice.:thumb:

Edit: I'm thinking of turning that floortom into a bass drum, how much are those stands that do that anyways???

audio didnt work for me :(

i like your setup though, aside from the cowbell, it looks hard to hit. at the angle i saw it anyway.

Sounds awsome! Are hitting the heads with sticks? If so isn't it bad for the heads?

Edit: I mean the conga and Djembe heads.

audio didnt work for me Have to use Winrar to extract the file.

wild man, you should enter that in the solo compition hehe

Just thought what parts of it sounded like off and on, this song by king crimson called b'boom. If you havnt heard of it, go listen to it! its so good! An ambient drum solo type thing. Youd dig it.

Hell ill even send it to you if you want, its that good.

Still not sure If I should use the perc rig in the solo comp or at least part of it. Might have to do something with that Zil-Bel its way to loud but I'm out of stands. Oh ya I got the octobans off Ebay for a good price and they are Tama. They have been painted once I'm thinking about starting a project to redo them.

Ya I did you sticks on that recording, I've been playing sticks on the Djembe (on the right in the pic) for years and still have the original head with no where and tear. When I do get round to recording a real song I'll prolly record the bongo's by them self and multitrack them with the rest of the rig. Although they sound great with sticks, you can do so much more by hand.

That's a really cool percussion rig you got. Recording sounded really good, you should definetely use it for the drum solo comp in my opinion, atleast for a part of it.
