i have/use audacity. It worked fine for recording, but i never did any uploading of mp3s

Yea, It was for people that caught the "-" sign and understood the notation, would mean I wasnt very sure at all about that.

on the audicity site....you can download the Lame..program and from there you can turn your work in to mp3s
