any Texas bands playing Houston Gig

I was just wondering if any texas band such as myself got invited to play at the Engine Room in Houston Tx. Its a battle of the bands type set up hosted by a company called Concerts First, winner gets 16 hours recording time.

My old band did, but they didnt give us any info and we werent good enough it was just random. My band plays at coffee houses (Wired, The Coffee Retreat and Java Jazz)
