I recorded this a couple weeks ago using my Casio keyboard, my dirt electric guitar and my Fender bass. The only thing that isn't of my own creation is the drum machine (obviously). The only real Hendrixy elements that remain are the relative tempo and the chord progression. (and of course the cromatic root runs later on in the song). Just looking for another opinion on this track of mine. This is my first recording using my keyboard, I've only been playing it for a few weeks.

Come now, someone must have some thoughts, even if it's only on the solos!

The bass sounded good, but I didn't like the guitar tone. I was a good audio...sounded high quality.:chug:

I'm eager about this one. Sounds interesting.

I enjoy the intro. Makes me want to sing, even if I'm an amateur.

Stylish guitar solo.

I miss the vocals badly, however. Would you mind adding them?

The overall impression is really good and musical. Nice keyboard solo towards the end, but you could make it even more aggressive.

I cannot sing worth anything.... I just don't have the right kind of voice. Weird how you can always buy a better guitar, but there's nothing you can do for vocal chords.

Anyway, if anybody felt like doing it, I'd be thrilled if they threw on some vocal tracks for this, it would really pick it up.

What do you mean by not having the 'right kind of voice'? Is the 'kind' really that important? I bet that if you spend some time on hitting the correct pitch (if you aren't able to already?), it will work. Just an idea.

I suppose it's not my voice so much as my voice training then, either way, I can't hit notes. I'm like an american Idol reject (except I didn't go on international television and make an *** of myself)
