Im getting new hats for my bday coming up, and I was wondering Mastersounds or new beats, Im not sure which one
new beats. more versatile.

I always say if you don't know where to start check out new beats.
They are the meat & potato hi-hat sound and work for everything.

I like both so much, but i pbly go with the new beats, theyre cheaper anyways, and ive heard alot of people suggest them to me. Thanks for you guy's help

Are new beats good for metal? Looking for a chris adler, danny carey kinda high hat sound.

new beats are more versatile but i think once you get accustomed to the mastersounds, you'll like them more than the NB.
if you can't get the oppertunity to play them at least listen to some sound clips off of zildjian's site.
either way i prefer mastersounds

13" Ks are pretty versitile, the standard ones..
