I just want to play some piano music with this thing. I can't get it to work.

Its a usb midistart 2 keyboard. I uninstalled it a long time back, but I reinstalled it with new updated drivers. I'm trying to get it to work with Battery 2 and I haven't had a shred of luck.

In the control panel the device is selected as the main playback method. Is that wrong? On battery I have all my devices selected as i'm told that battery merges them all anyways.

What am I doing wrong?

shouldnt playback be your speakers or soundcard and whatnot? the keyboard should be the input. unless i misunderstood you

It should be, but the only midi playback options I have are my keyboard and the default MIcrosoft Synthesizer GW playback thing

MIDI doesn't seem to work for the unexperinced in MIDI unless you call tech support.

Haha, thank you. I'm no legend, just a kid who had too much free time. :)

Took off the avatar for...err, I don't know why.

I will see what I can do.
