drum mic question

is there a set of drum mics that you may know of that includes a all purpose snare mic(suresm57), 3-4 tom mics, a bass mic, 2 overheads, and if possible a large diaphram as a room mic for a reasonable price

I've never seen sets bigger than 7 mics and they are pretty expensive. Most of those you are gonna have to find and buy seperately

Red Audio sets might be a bit better. For about £200 UK you get a kick mic (which I've seen used on guitar amps with great results) 4 snare/tom mics and 2 condenser overheads. You don't get a specific snare mic but you could always buy the SM57 seperately or an Audix i5. The red audio kit also comes with 4 clamps to mount the mics on the drum rims and a steel flightcase.

I don't really think you'll be able to get a set of 7 mics for as cheap as that which perform so well.

Try ebay you can get 7 mic sets for buy it now £150 add stands and the extra mics i expect no more than £250.
