Will pretty much any mixer be able to go into my computers sound card? I plan to buy a mixer today to replace my old method of recording on to my computer and I dont have a whole lot of money left to spend on it. So what should I be looking for in a mixer if I need it to be able to go into the computers sound card?
The card is a sound blaster live 24 bit. Thanks.

That there is a great card, I find. (I have the USB version)
Well, what are you recording? you could possibly just need a 5 input mixer, or as much as a 12 input one.
For acoustic guitar, you should just need a basic 5 input mixer. (that's generally as small as they go)
but for a drumkit, or 3/4 piece rock arrangement, you might need 8 - 12 inputs.
Either way, Behringer is a great way to go. The UB series, in particular.

You can simply run a cable and an adaptor from the main outputs (or the tape outputs) on the mixer into the 'Line in' on the soundcard.
Just check your recording levels on your sound card to ensure that you dont get any clipping.
