those sizzlers sound like good fun, I have heard good things about the flying dragons, I think most stands are made to hold 18" and 20" cymbals, if you think they might fall over buy double braced or just higher quality
sound good though in genreral, yamaha makes great stuff and so does zildjian but don't limit yourself
good luck with your drumming

Stagg 1000 or pearl 1000 :) both will hold an 18" no problem. I'd say B/BC800 too although they arent as strong

amazing stands and only $40, double braced with removable (heavy) counterweight, convertable too
don't let the groove percussion name scare you too much

Wow, I might consider buying those, would they hold a floor tom and a paragon ride though??
