im not using gibralter rack due to downsizing and its pointless, that is not the finished product because there is quite a few more cymbals and a bit more hardware/percussion and things coming in the final specs will be
yamaha oak custom/ mapex saturn pro (havnt decieded)
12x9/12x6
14x14
22x17
13x3 black panther
pearl hardware ( about 3 more boom stands, 1000 series throne and 800 snare stand)
aax hats, aax crash, aax ride, aax splash (same as above) with hhx 16" ozone, aax 18" stage crash, aa 14" crash, ice bell (if i can get my hands on 1) aa 12" mini china and a aax 08" splash aswell, also a pearl jamblock, lp cowbell and a side snare maybe.
pic setup but with no cymbals:

The more the toms the merrier. You can never have enough drums if you have the room.

thanks guys, space is no issue, my garage is plenty big enough, 4 piece is comfy for me imo fills so better because your limited.

i prefer small setups. simple. btw u might want to start investing in some groove juice. your cymbals looked like they just got molested pretty bad. Its alright though, my vaults look the same. btw love those AAX's. sexy stuff.

Yeah, I like the 4 piece set up.
Lots of toms in practice is fun. But lots of toms when gigging is a pain to carry.
But I feel like I've waisted my money on the extra toms I have gathering dust.

the cymbals are new ( 1 month old nearrly) lol, but have had alot of use, the photos make them look dirtier than they actually are

Yeah ,I too prefer it 4-5 piece, the only 6 piece set ups I enjoy playing are two rack toms and two loor toms,. dont know why, I just do,.

I've never seen a rack-based kit that wasn't tidy.
