Does anybody have a recomended gate settings for kick drum or any other parts of drumkit?

any helo would be much appriciated.

honestly, it depends on the gate you're using and the song that's being played. For instance, if there's a ring on your snare, then you're likely going to be using a short gate open with a rapid, but gradual decay.

For kick, you might want to be getting rid of a boxy sound: I typically find that EQ is best for that.

What are you trying to achieve with the gate? That's probably the first question. The second is what gate are you using?

It depends what you want to do with the gate, and all the settings depend on the situation, so anything said here can only be qualitative.
