trashed the world so no one can get in
now the blanket covers my life
and its like you're just asking for a fix

so why all this hostile disvalue?
my only wish was to extend a hello

so i write this down
to get everything off my chest
in preparation for the same tomorrow

while twenty-four kids
laugh at my defeat

because they thrive from tears
and that is my greatest fear
of getting hurt again

the chance is like the sun rising at daybreak
