Best Hi-hats?

K , today i tested sabians crashes and paiste crashes in the store and i learned a lot.
But i didn't get a chance to test Hats and i think i might wanna get rid of my PST3 hats ( though they sound pretty good imo)

Anyways you get the question , what are the best hi-hats in your opinion?
I have heard a lots of good about New-beats and about groove-hats...

You're going to get a whole host of different answers.

For me I love, and own, the 13" HHX stage hats, great hats very crisp and cutting, Though I almost went for a set of K dark hats.

Well its all opinion. I can tell you less then half about hats as I can tell you about any other cymbals. I like the Sabian Groove hats, Fast hats and the manhatten jazz hats, Zildjian also makes good hats, K's, mastersounds and newbeats are the most commonly used ones although they have alot of other good ones like the constotouples. I don't know much about paiste but I'm pretty sure that all their higher quality cymbals are all accepted as good(exept for maybe the rudes). I also like instanbul and bosphorus and I'm sure that everyone else that heard them does, so check out those cymbals too at cymbalsonly.com

lots of great hats, but i personally like Sabian 15'' AA Rock hats, 14'' AAXcelerators, 14'' AAX stage hats, and HHX grove hats

as an alternative, id suggest trying the AA Metal-X's from sabian. i really like them, great washy sound.

haha, well, i'm just goin' with my personal experience, and i unfortunatly have not personally played to many hats other than sabian except for new beats and paiste SE's, and those were already mentioned.

I personaly love the 13" K/Z customs.

But I've heard some really good things about the New Beats, I'd go to the store and try both of them if you get the chance.

everything in drums is taste. and dont forget zildjians sound samples.

paiste 2oo2 crunch hats and sabian AAX stage/studio hats are great.

I'm kool I like istanbul Agops, but there rare in canada, I also like Paiste 15" Sig Soundedges, Sabian 14" AAX Stage, Meinl 14" Byzance regular and Zildjian 13" New beats

I spent 2 hours in guitar center a year and a 1/2 ago with the mind set of buying new hats.

The third set I tried were paiste 14" sound edge 2002's


I tested 10 more sets.

I bought the 2002's

Turns out my buddy has the same ones, and he gave me **** for "copying" him :p
