what do you guys think is the most important part of a drumset. and i dont want smartass answers like "drumsticks" you guys know what i mean so dont be stupid

I agree.

A person can "drum" with only a snare and still keep a song flowing.

ive seen a sort of lounge/cabaret trio and the drummer had a bass, snare, and hat and played standing
