Band Logo

Me and my band are finally ready to get a logo. Neither of us can draw for crap so what should I do?

Ask someone to do it for you. Or just make a crappy one yourself. If it's crappy enough, you might get a kick out of it. Otherwise just talk to art people.

If your in school ask one of the art students to make it for you...Just tell them what kind of design you want.Or if you don't have a design yet then tell him/her your band name and maybe they can come up with something.

go to some logo makeing site that they already have stuff there and use the software that they have to cuztimize it, but it will cost you a little money

I didn't know when I'd ever use that brush so I just tried it on that and it gave it the effect of leaves falling ot the "ground" so i left it. :thumb:

Use the fact that you can't draw to your advantange.

Try and design something so simple that anyone can put a copy of their logo on their school books/bags/etc...

the font style im lookin for is called Viner Hand ITC...or sumthin of the sort...its a legible cursive so people can read it but its fancy...ish

and as far as colors go our colors are basically fall colors like red, orange, yellow

I think the best way to do that would be to actually put a knife in a "punk"'s back, and take a picture. One less thing for the world to worry about. :lol:

well i put in the name of the band, and the link to music, then i put several background behind it (i'd previously made them that tinted yellow colour). i just layered them all on top of each other and exported it into image ready. I made different layers visible on each frame, then but in some merging frames between them, by "tweening".

we are called 'Headstock' and we were wanting our name in a kind of 'art nouveau' style font, like maybe some floral aspects going over it etc.

I have done illustrating since I was 10 (right now i am 16-17). You guys are confusing logos with graphic banners. A logo is a simple symbol usually in 1-2 colors, that is simple and memorable. What you guys are doing would be almost useless in a T-Shirt situation, business card, or etc. But still some beautiful stuff here.
