We need a mixer to record into a computer that has enough imputs to do drums and all that good stuff. what would you recommend we are looking to spend any where from 100-200

I don't think you'll get one for that cheap.

If you need something with enough inputs to do drums and everything else then you may be looking to spend 3 times that.

But one option would be to instead of spending heaps on one big mixer, buy two smaller ones instead and use them in conjunction with each other.
By running the ouput of one into a spare line level input of the second.

But, bigger mixers usually have more and better features than those little ones. So it's up to you.

I have a Behringer ub505..

So it's a 5 input, 2 bus mixer.. unfortunately, it's only got one XLR input,(usually for mics) if that bothers you.

You could upgrade to the 808, the (you guessed it) 8 input version... I'm pretty sure it has 2 or 3 XLR inputs, and phantom power for condensors which are needed for overheads.

I've got a couple of those little behringers as well.
A UB1202, which has 4 mic preamps. and a 1204FX, which has 4 more mic inputs and some digital FX.

They do the job.
