TRAPS Big Dog Drum Kit

This looks very interesting, just like the Arbiter Flats ( Very cheap as well ) but with Big Dog hardware, it looks really cool but what does it play like?

Peart uses something similar to that on the road (as you can see on the RIR dvd) but he didnt use Big Dogs. I would just get one of those for on the road or before show purposes, just as a warm up.

I heard flats are not worth the money (expensive) and your best just getting a set.

Then id have some extra cash to buy btter heads, if needed as they come with Remo heads and cymbals.

No need to bother with hardware either because they come with Bog Dog hardware

ya, I saw those on Ebay, and they were pretty expensive, id only use it as a road kit to warm up, or just as a small apartment kit, it cant be too loud

louder than you would think but not too loud. and the hardware may be big bog but its not very good, the boom arm moves even when tight but then it could be my mate has a defective boom.

What I can't figure out is why the Big Dog pedal has an old style beater, and not a Big Dog beater.
