Im buying a little practice bass mic and i was gonna buy this ----> http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Live/Sound/Microphones/Wireless?sku=270749 7 piece kit form CAD. If this mic kit isnt very good, can you please tell me about a good kit that will cover a 5-piece set? Thanks everyone!

Don't know much about mics, but Shure is talked of pretty highly around here and in the jam session, as well.

Reviews on that look decent, but it'd be best for someone who's recorded drums to give you some advice...

And you may want to ask in the jam session or just look around there.

yeah, shure is pretty highly spoken of by a lot of studio drummers and such so i'd bet it's a good bet

its ok for beginners, but just like cymbals, its much more worth it to wait a bit and get higher quality. i wouldnt really recommend practice mics as much as a practice kit, since u can move mics in one case but moving a kit is a bigger hassle.
