Hey bass brothers and sisters. Since I have become so familiar here on the bass page, I was hoping maybe some of you or someone you know could help me out. I've posted in the guitar forum, but I don't know how cool that particular forum is. So please hear me out.
My band, Abeyance, has just announced the departure of one of guitar players. We need a new guitar player ASAP. We are a touring band, under contract by a record label with obligations to fulfill. We are a heavy metal, hardcore, progressive band with killer riffs and bad-*** rythyms. Spec us out here at

Here are the qualifications:
Must play 7 string guitar. Sorry, no six'ers.
Must have own equipment and transportation. We are located on Eastern Long Island, in NY. Living in the Metro area or on the island would be a plus.
Must be willing to commit everything to the band. And I do mean everything. This band is a full-time job with serious intentions to tour consistantly and play our hearts out. It would be in your best interest to have little or no financial hang-ups. If you do, joining a band is the last thing you need, so no dead beats.
Absolutely no egos. Think you can shred ? Come down and blow us away. Talk is cheap.
