Im having trouble with switching from playing 16th notes to 16th note triplets and 16ths to 32nds. Other than practising at a really slow tempo what other things might help, like are there particular sticking patterns to use? Im using alternate sticking for the 16ths.
Triplets
OoooOotttOotttOottt
1e+a2e+ea3e+ea4e+ea
32nds
O-o-o-o-O-ooo-o-O-o-o-o-O-o-o-o
1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 e + a

Sorry, practicing slow and relaxed to a click is really the way to do it.
You should practice ideally with as many stickings as possible. In this sense then I'd recomend purchasing Stick Control and working through, at least the stickings sections, at both the perscribed note values and transposed throughout the spectrum.
To do such a thing on a daily basis would produce glorious results.

Ok thanks for your help.
I was going to do the sticking for the triplets like:
OoooOotttOotttOottt
1e+a2e+ea3e+ea4e+ea
rlrlrlrllrlrllrlrll
Personally I have a thing of doing everything with alternate sticking, i dont know why. But i thought if i try loads of sticking variations then it would confuse my hands and muscle memory.
Maybe i should practise that exercise where you move up and down the notes with alternate sticking (8ths,Tpl8ths,16ths,tpl16ths,3nds etc.)
I've got stick control so i'll go through that also.
Thank you for your input:thumb:

yeah, just sitting down and starting out with a click at about 60bpm helped me tremendously. Now i can do it naturally
