Hey folks, i was wondering if its possible to achive anything resemble Entwhistle's tone on a Squire J n a behringer BX300? (i know my gear is pretty bad, but that's whats there)

No way man. Sorry to disappoint. A lot of his tone comes from his use of bi-amping. Ashdown pre and power amps for his lows, and for his highs he used trace elliot preamp with ashdown poweramps, and and a guitar overdrive effect, and lots of chorus sometimes too
heh, yea, i always thought it'd be unlikely, ill try it once i upgrade my gear (soon:) ) cheers anyway :chug:

Yeah lets all become millionaires buy a replica rig and bass and drink newcastle brown with the elves from the moon while stroking a rare breed of furry iguana.
I want entwhistles tone as well, didn't he use a 4x12 and 4x10 hiwatt rig at their isle of white gig and a 1970s jazz bass of some sort thats what it looks like on the dvd anyway.
