Tommy Igoe is a great drummer and all...but sometimes I'm not sure about this cat. http://www.vicfirth.com/education/drumset/GrooveEssentials.html after you open the page go to the mambo. Pick which vid size to watch and watch the first few minutes......

....catch that? That's right, in the middle of explaining how latin rhythms are translated to the trap set he said "We're goin nuts over here. We're trying to grab everybody's parts"...a little on the creepy side to me. Makes you wonder what kind of relationship he has with his drumsticks...maybe he sets his throne upside down for the fun of it too. Haha just thought I would share that bit with you guys.

Tommy Igoe is a champion and that DVD is one of the best Ive ever seen.

Maybe its time for Groom Essentials with Jimmy Igoe to be re-released, eh?
