This is just something I wrote while not paying attention in latin. Though I was paying enough attention to listen to the phrase "Thus passes the glory of the world" and I liked that so here is my song based off that phrase.
In the begining when history begain
Able was murdered by his dear brother cain
Forever leaving a stain
On the hands by whitch able was slain
Cain forever lived in guilt and pain
But his redemtion was in vain
We murder today and forget the story told
Thus passes the glory of the world
Should heaven break
Leaving us abandoned in its wake
We should ban together for our sake
But too few would awake
To the new haven we could make
Instead we simpily take
For ourselves all that turns to gold
Thus passes the glory of the world
And our lust for power
Will ultimetly devour
All good hour by hour
And our greed will shower
Upon the innocent who unite yet cower
To get to the top of the worlds tallest tower
We would have our very souls sold
Thus passes the glory of the world
Super powers bring upon nuclear war
But unless it makes them poor
They wouldnever think before
They hit the button bringing on a claticlismic roar
Throwing us to heaven's door
Throwing us into a dark nuclear winter
Too many would stay and fight in the cold
Thus passes the glory of the world
But this does not have to be our fate
We can get past murder and hate
And defeat our great tempture
Greed and money's green lure
And the king will be powerless
Against the free pawn in chess
And will be nothing in this world so bold
