'When Swing Meets Bop' ...something about thinking about bop (esepcially hardish bop)that doesn't swing makes me think of a trumpet player with ADD and tourettes (sp?).
but all the same you guys sound excellent, and these recordings make it sound like you really are from the swing-era lol. lots of potential here and i hope to hear a high quality recording of it all!
cheers

if you've got windows media player, play the mp3 with that and use the equaliser presetn for 58k music, it kidna brings out the bass.
Naveed.. are you playing the bass accompanyment for those or the melodies?

Yeah, hopefully this semester our concerts will go better, the last one of the semester was pretty bad, the drummer kept changing the tempo, so it hard to get a feel when we were soloing, i have it recorded, and i dont even want to listen to it...
Im really excited to play breezin... I suggested Naima, Breezin, Barbary Coast, and Birldand... i didnt think id be playing them all.
