Well. Ok, my band has about 12 songs down. We want to record some of them to put on our myspace and make a small ep. We play punk, but our vocals are pretty clear and have alot to do with what makes our sound, good. So, what I need advice on is on what should I use to record. We're not that heavly strapped for cash. We've been earning and saving here and there. So we have some money to make the eps' and distrubite them. We're not that known, only mainly becuase we don't have an EP out. But we play in Los Angeles and Orange county area. But we have opened up for some good bands because of awesome connections and luck we have. Yet we haven't recorded. We do have one song on a disc that we recorded in the studio when we were in a session with Toxic Narcotic. But we kicked that singer out because he lagged it too much and we much not rather use it.

So any ideas? Anyone that helps me out the least, I'd be gald to send you an ep free of charge.

Best sound possible? take that money and hire a professional to record your EP.

Best continued use of the money? You might want to look into purchasing your own gear. Keep in mind that you probably won't even come close to a professional sound on your first few attempts, even if you do have enough cash to purchase pro-level gear.

Ahh. Thanks for your advice. I'll look into the professional thing. And if we have extra cash we'll start to buy our own gear. I always like learning to do new things.
