help with battlefield 1942 multiplayer

when i try to connect to a server, it says "failed to connect to server". i have all the latest patches installed. my version is 6.19. why can't i connect?

I dunno man. When I saw the thread title, I was going to say get the patch, but now i'm not to sure. Do you have Punkbuster enabled?

hmm. If you are trying to play a game that required Punkbuster, that is maybe why you are having problems. When you join a game, make sure you check if it has the blue guy with the red circle through it. If it does, it reqires Punkbuster and may not let you join. Just a theory but maybe you want to try dwonloading Punkbuster. Good luck. :thumb:

If you have a firewall on your that may be stopping you connecting to the server. Try disabling the Windows XP firewall and configuring your other firewall to allow Battlefield to communicate with the internet.
