This looks like a pretty awesome notebook and I'm thinking about getting it but I have a question about it. Is it true that this new mac notebook can run the Windows OS? I'm wondering because I really love Mac OS X but there are really not too many games out on the market that runs under the Mac OS. I heard however that because Apple now uses Pentium processors, they can now run the Windows OS. Is this true? I'm sorry but I really don't know much about computers compaired to many of you so this might sound like a retarded question. I hope this can run Windows because I'm really looking forward to getting one of these laptops one of these days. If now I guess I'll just play games a PS3 or Xbox 360.

My friend is a huge Linux nut and gives me crap about me wanting to get a Mac :p

Well thinks for the imput guys. I'm going to get a Mac anyways even if it doesn't run Windows. I actually grew up on a mac a long time ago (during the OS 6-7 era.) I actually found my first computer online.

The Windows OS is safe and solid if you know how to use it properly.

The only reason why OSX and Linux are safer is because they have so little market share so it is generally worthless for a hacker to waste his time creating viri for said OS's. Not to say that those OS have bad security, just it's hard to have perfect security on an OS that controls 97% of the desktop market.

Exactly. Viruses for Macintosh started increasing when the Mac Mini was released because lot's of people bought it.
