Jackie Brown, Goodfellas, Kingpin.
Jackie Brown, is that a Quinton Tarintino film?

I've been meaning to see the other two, I heard Kingpin is hilarious.

Yeah, Jackie came right after Pulp. So some felt let down because of high expectations. But it's actually very good. And it has a great cast. Robert DeNiro, Samual L. Jackson, Pam Grier, Bridgette Fonda, and an old character actor who for some reason I can't recall right now. Oh, and Micheal Keaton.

And yes, Kingpin is outrageous. Woody Harrelson and Bill Murry and Randy Quaid. Incredibly funny and ridiculous.

Man, I like that movie a lot. Somewhere along the way Brad Pitt lost some of his role taking balls. He plays a great villian and slob. Now he's busy making craptastic poo like Troy and Mr. & Mrs.Smith. He was good in Thelma and Louise and Seven, too.

And TS, don't forget about Jackie Brown. I almost never see this movie discussed alongside Tarintino's other films. No, it's not as good as Dogs or Pulp Fiction, but those are really high standards. If it had been his first film people would be like "OMG, what a great" movie. As it is it's a very worthy film by any standard. The performances alone are worth your time. And the soundtrack.

I liked seeing Bridget Fonda's *** in it, that's all I remember.

I agree with you about Pitt, I wonder what films he'll work on next. If it's a romantic comedy with Angelina Jolie, **** him.

Just checked imdb and it's just as bad... He's playing Jesse James and the lead is... I'm not kidding, Casey Affleck. (seriously)

^^Oh shi! How the mighty fall in Hollywood. It really bothers me how these actors with the power to get almost any project off the ground, or at least with the power to take almost any role, insist on making complete crap. Scripts fall at there feet when they walk down the street and they just blow it. The least they can strive for is balance. But Pitt hasn't made a ballsy move since Fight Club. And even that was a bit of a sure thing. Big studio, great director, etc.

And yeah, Fonda was fantastic in those shorts painting her toes in her opening scene in Jackie Brown. Flirting with DeNiro the whole time. And when he ****ed her in the kitchen it was over before it started, lol. He was all grunt and grimace. Cracked me up. That was a perfect role for him.

It's incredible.

Think Pulp Fiction meets Goodfellas set in the Brazilian ghetto.
