TV Shows onto Computer!!

How do I get TV shows on my computer? I normaly do it by recording the shows onto a DVD then ripping them onto my computer, but It costs to much money to be buying discs all the time, and waiting forever for them to rip, So is there a faster easier way?

I've moved this to the media centre, hopefully someone can help you out. Personally I'd just use Bittorrent but like you said the quality is low. Personally I'd just wait for the DVDs to come out, of course this doesn't help if you want something from this season right now.

You need either a Tv tuner card, or a graphics card with ViVo enabled (with the necessary cables of course) to record onto your pc. The software to record is free in most cases, but the better software will cost.

You must be downloading bad torrents then. The shows I download are usually HDTV-rips, which are very high quality.

"low quality" are you kids retarded.. look for the "HD.TV" torrents or stop watching crappy shows that noone with HDTV wants to watch.
