Yamaha's stuff is great. The SCA's are great sounding drums, and they're built to last. Go for it. I think you'll be happy.

The Nouveau is very nice but SUCH A PAIN IN THE *** TO CHANGE OMG I MIGHT DIE IF I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN!

Stage customs are great drums pal.... I don't love the mounting system that much but it gets the job done...

i LOVE YAMAHA STAGE CUSTOMS when i get to college i a year..i will have a YAMAHA ABSOLUTE BIRCH NOUVEAU 4 PIECE SHELL PACK.

the sexiest thing i have ever seen.. with natural finish and black gold colored brass hardware.

but anyways...yea...stage customs rock..i have one now..i got it tuned to where it sounds great..NEW HEADS ARE A MUST and the bass batter suck...get that one first

It's probably better than retuning, if for some reason you're moving heads around without the drum.
