So, I was watching episode 6 (from the DVD Trilogy), and I noticed how at the end, when Luke sees the ghost of Obi Wan, Anakin, and Yoda, that the ghost of Anakin is younger looking like the actor in the Episode 1-3, unlike in the original version. So what are some other changes that have occured in Star Wars films?

In episode IV that alien guy shoots at Han first before Han kills him in the bar.

Changes in voice actors and their dialogues in such characters as Darth Vader, Boba Fett and other that I can't remember right now. Also adding the scream in ESB when Luke jumps off the thing after Vader cut his hand off.

Greedo shooting first in Ep IV was pretty much enough to get Lucas locked up and have some sense beaten in to him even without the other lame changes.

Because it not only looks terrible it takes away from the character of Han. Lucas tried to make him more appealing to people buy showing that he's not some scoundrel.

What exactly happens??? I haven't seen the movie for a while..

Original: Greedo and Han are talking in that cantina place. Han has his gun behind his back, and shoots Greedo when he threatens him.
Remake: Same stuff blah blah blah, except Greedo shoots his gun first, thus making Han look like a pansy.
Kind of.

Out of all the changes he made, I really hate the Return of the Jedi ForceGhost of Anakin.
IT'S THAT STUPID KID!

If you think about it, there's the completely obvious height difference between the old Obi-Wan and the Young Anakin.
I mean, the kid was so much shorter than the original Vader and original Obi-Wan.
Also, the kid looked just plain goofy when he stepped forward to smile at Luke Skywalker.

The height difference is retarded, yes. But Star Wars can't have complete continuity. No franchise of that scale can.

Yeah like 30 years before ROJ when he died.

ANH
- Greedo shoots first
- Jabba appears before they board the Falcon
- Heaps of improved effects, the pink blur under Lukes speeder is gone.
ESB
- Boba Fetts voice has been dubbed over
- Luke screams like a pussy when he falls in the pit thing
- Extra scenes of Vader travelling to his Star Destroyer towards the end of the film
ROTJ
- Ghost being replaced with young Anakin
- New music at Jabbas palace
- Vader has no eyebrows
That's all I can think of at the moment, there's a site somewhere that has all the differences. Most of them are unnecessary, which is why I got the original ones.

Yeah, I bought the remastered tapes that strictly only remastered visual and audio and have only one change in the whole trilogy, and that is only the subtitle change on the different spoken languages (Huttese for instance).
I'm gonna transfer them on DVD whenever I've got time to kill.

I noticed another release of the original trilogy with the original cover on it.
I want to know if anyone knows if thise trilogy is the original without all the added CGI effects that are so out of place, it drives me crazy.

Exactly. George loses his nerve about the ethics of one of the coolest ever fictional characters so he ****s with history. This professional bounty hunter has his gun pointed at Han from four feet away and we're supposed to believe he misses?!??!??!??!
No George!!!!! Han is a profesional badass. He's a criminal at the time we first meet him and life is cheap, especially in Mos Eisley. He's totally streetwise so he fools Greedo into thinking Greedo has the situation completely under control while he arms his blaster under the table. By the time he's determined that he's not going to talk Greedo out of it he's resolved that the only way to stay out of Jabba's clutches is to kill the bounty hunter.
So Han is established as this streetsmart rogue, a crook who'll gun you down if you threaten his life. The compelling and complex juxtaposition to the naive, whiny Skywalker kid. You had it right first time George.

Perfect. Let Luke be the good kid of the film, and Han can stay the badass he should be.

I doubt it, George can't seem to live with people seeing his movies the way they should be.

Is that music the bluesy kind of stuff with the girl or something singing?

Well, it's the CGI singer, there's more bandmates than the original, and at one point in the song, there's a hairy male singiner creature that runs up the screen and rawrs.

Yeah, it's some bluesy song with a CGI thing with huge lips.
