Have you ever heard of Duffy Jackson? The dude is this kick as$ jazz drumer.
He is in his 50's/60's? and is a big guy with red hair. Anyways I was at a jazz festival with my high school big band and this dude gave a lesson. H e started with his jazz sticks (brushes), to sticks ,and then to his F*cking hands. and he was playing pretty loud too!

so then my band went up saying how the F*CK can we play now? So we S-U-C-K-E-D! Then duffy brought us to this room and jamed for a half hour or so. It was great!


By the way he has drumed with count baise, he did the pink panther theme song, played with miles davis, and coltrain to name a few!

I think he is skilled, but I would say maybe he doesn't have much uniqueness; kind of just another drummer in the mold of the big band swing greats
