Here is an idea: What if there was a tab site where tab transcribers could pay the actual artist of the song to place their own version of the music on the site. Also, for every 100 people that download the tab, the site and the transcriber of that version of the song must pay a little to the original artist. Think of it like napster, except that it will be legal by having an "everybody pay everybody" type system.

Yeah that would be a good idea, but it would be tough to get the artists approval because I'm sure they have some hidden techniques that no one knows about.
