i was thinkin of something like this last week but thought it would flop...... i wanted to make sort of a Technologies thread... all the latest and greatest gear.... (ie, new pedals, bass models, companies,ect......)...

Unfortunately the old Photo thread got deleted, so we thought we may as well bundle videos and such in with it. :D

It can also take the place of the old Bass Forum Creativity thread, which was great while it lasted - so feel free to post your lyrics, paintings or whatever.

make a post that has all the google videos and youtube and whatever else and have people look here first. have it so that one post is all videos, and mods can edit it when people find more videos and stuff.

if that dont make sense, someone else will have the same idea and you can listen to them.

If you do videos, pic's, creativity (lyrics, paintings, ect...)... it will get VERY cluttered.......i reccomend doing sep. threads for each........

Music I think should be seperate. It is a forum for musicians, after all. Some of the most interesting threads are people showing off their latest tracks.

If someone gets a new bass and wants to post pics and such, that's fine, but official bass forum picture threads can just be put in this thread and such, along with video discoveries, etc.

I think itd be a good idea, maybe, to introduce another subforum, specifically for media. That way, we wouldnt have to worry about keeping it bumped, itd be easier to manage/browse.

I think this idea is sorta lame. The best part of the forum once you're sick of answering questions about "which bass" or "which pickups" is listening to people's tracks, watching vids, or just media threads in general. Consolidating it would give those threads way less traffic and make more room for the (in my opinion) boring stuff.
