Sonata Arctica guitarist???

I've been listening to sonata arctica for a while and I've always wondered they only have one guitar player.... I wonder why dont get a second guitar player. Why is that?

are 2 guitarrists really necessary? there's no formula that says 2 guitars are better than one.

they sound fine w/ 1 guitar and a keyboard.
