Soulfly

I was just curious what everyone thinks about Soulfly? I use to really like them a while ago with "Primitive" but i was pretty dissappointed with "3". When Prophecy came out you could see that they stepped up their game with some solos and variation but they also just redid some old songs (which was a letdown). I just bought Dark Ages hearing how it was back to roots and more like Sepultura. I haven't listened to it enough to come to a conclusion yet.

I reckon Soulfly are an alright band, but people often flame them for their similarities to Sepultura.I liked Dark Ages, it was a pretty good album but the only other Soulfly album i have is Primitive.

I really hate Soulfly. But I did hear that front lines song, and I dug it a lot. So I'm thinking that Soulfly might stop being a bad band.

Yeah the lyrics are bad, but I liked the rythm and solo in that song.

i do like soulfly but one thing i cant stand is how Max will just rhyme words that have ication on the end. he does it on the first song of Dark Ages which is a real good song but i just dont like how he does that.

Has anyone heard Soulfly's cover of Under The Sun originally by Black Sabbath? I reckon its awesome, the whole song has that evil quality to it, al the way through, rather than only the intro and start of the song on the Black Sabbath version.
