Into Eternity and Persuader

Both great bands with cool riffs. Persuader is a little more cheez, when I hear em I just imagine a group of Norsemen atop a mountain celebrating a great battle lol Into Eternity is real heavy, progressive with KILLER riffs and a great blend of clean/screamin vocals. Check em out if ya havent heard of em.

Persuader sound pretty much like early Blind Guardian. The similarity is impressive considering that their vocalist sounds almost exactly like Hansi.

I mentioned Persuader for $hits and giggles. They have nothing to do with Into Eternity other than the fact that theyre both bands whos music I enjoy a lot.

Id recommend any tracks from Buried In Oblivion by Into Eternity, especially Embraced by Desolation and Spiralling Into Depression, but the whole album just plain wails. I really feel that there are no bad tracks on that album.

They do it on the first song of Buried In Oblivion, and pretty much nowhere else.

Well wankery by definition is bad. I see wankery as not really playing from the soul or trying to create anything for the listener. Classic Rock has alot of wankery in it even if it isn't technical. Just listen to the Freebird solo.

Anyway I'm bumping this thread because I'm really digging Into Eternity all over again and I'm really anxious for the new album coming. Anyone know anything about it?

I also made an Into Eternity thread a while back but I can't find it.

One of my friends said that one of the guitar players got kicked out. I don't know how true that is, I don't really follow the band that much.

I think it's the same two guitarists but a new rhythm section and lead vocalist.
