Recently I bought a drum set from my dads friend for $100. Its from the 60s and it has all the original hardware and cymbals. I cleaned everything and it looks brand new except the crash cymbal, but its pretty clean. The set is called Majestic Deluxe and its a four pc. set made in Japan.

If you know anything about these drums can somebody give me a price to sell it for?

Pictures would give you the best and most precise answer. Did some research and Majestic Deluxe seems to be a vintage drum company...? Sounds like a good buy though :thumb:

Here is an eBay link to a vintage Majestic Deluxe snare drum

in the 60's, drums from Japan were the cheapest way to get started, Gene Krupa(I spent an hour+ reading and watching videos of him yesterday) worked in a music shop I think with his brother, he spent much of his time looking through magazines for different instruments, drums were the cheapest instrument but he didn't care as long it was an instrument, his first drums were from Japan

yours probably are worth not too much more than what you paid for them, especially considering that 19$ snare drum

The value of the set depends on it's condition, the wood used for the shells etc. That's why in my previous post I suggested pictures... You don't want to keep the kit for yourself? It sounds pretty decent.

This set comes with the hardware and cymbals in the picture. Everything is original. Even the heads are from the 60s.

a few days ago I went to a store and this guy said I should sell it for around $400 because it is in such great condition. So the price im looking for is around $400.

Is that a junior set? It looks small...

The set is a little bit smaller than standard but many sets were made like that in the sixties the sound is very good though
