The CoB Britney Spears cover is "Oops, I did it again".
Somebody told me that Atreyu cover Bon Jovi's "You give love a bad name" as well although I've not heard it so couldn't tell you if it was a good cover or not.

Machine Head doing Message in a Bottle by the Police is the greatest, we really need a headbanging smiley :naughty:

That would be Alice Cooper.
I would be interested in hearing Cradle of Filth cover some music, expecially maiden because...well...you can acually understand maiden.

haha, yah you should check that one out. I remember, that was the first song I tried to tab out for MXtabs (I was mitchhip on there...you probobly wouldnt reconize it because metal is too hard to figure out so I just did Tragically Hip songs, mostly.) It didnt turn out good at all... But yes, very good cover, Its on the "Hidden Treasures" Album if anyone wants to pick it up. They also do Parinoid by Sabbath on it, too.

Slayer have done some Rainbow (Gates Of Babylon) and Deep Purple (Burn), along with Iron Maiden and Judas Priest covers! Notice the simuliarty in the riff in The AntiChrist and that of Burn.
Metallica did a good portion of the White Album by Diamond Head (Sucking My Love, Am I Evil? The Prince, Its Electric and Helpless.) and also James Hetfield would cover Remember Tomorrow with Ron M.
Megadeth only did Am I Evil? as far as I know.
Testament did Nobodys Fault by Aerosmith from the album Rocks.
Anthrax did a lot of Maiden covers, and Alice Cooper's I'm Eighteen.
Iron Maiden covered UFO and Deep Purple... :smash:

Smoke on the Water is a very popular song for metal bands to cover, I gather.
Opeth is doing a cover of Deep Purple's Soldier of Fortune.
Rammstein did a cover of Stripped by...crap, I forget, some 80s band.
And In Flames covered a Depeche Mode song.

They also did I aint Superstitious, which I love..
And for a bit of a joke cover there is These Boots, as in "One of these days, these boots are gunna walk all over you". Its pretty funny
