For Composition class we need to do a project for the book, Captain Corelli's Mandolin. Our group was thinking I could play the guitar/bass as background music, but I need Greek or Italian music to play to. Do you guys have any suggestions for music, because I don't know of any of that kind of music off the top of my head.
it isn't greek nor italian but perhaps astor piazzolla's piece milonga del angel?

Nah i'm pretty sure it's greek or italian. Maybe some German. Basically any country from WWII.b
You'd think the reason they called it the World War is because it involved most countries in the World.

Right, but it didn't. They called it a world war because it encompassed arenas from one end of the earth to the other.

You need this song right here:
Tell me when will you be mine....Tell me Quando, Quando, Quandoooooo
that song rocks
also play a tarantella on your bass.

I need something I can learn in about 6 days, about an hour a day of practice minus 2 of those days. So in four hours.
/ googles tarantella
I'd need tabs for a specific type. I'm not very good at learning by ear. Plus, I've only been playing bass for about 6 months. I've been playing guitar for 2 years, so yeah.
I'm probably going to try to learn GNR's Godfather Theme, but I don't think I'd be able to learn that in so short amount of time, so I'll probably just bring in a recording.

check out spaccanapoli (not really popular so i don't know about tabs, but it's a start nonetheless) and i have some armenian music (kind of similar to greek), yet again no tabs so i don't know how much of a help that would be, but here's a link for spaccanapoli http://www.spaccanapoli.net/

The Modena City Ramblers are pretty good.
They're from Modena, Italy. It's kind of folky music.
