So, I'm looking for some new artists to look into. I used to just download everything I could find from the YSI thread, but we don't have that anymore, so I'm just generally looking for new music to my ears.
So, as said in the title, I'm looking for any good hard style Emo/Post-Hardcore, preferably with screaming in it, cause for some reason, I can't get enough of it. I mean stuff like From First To Last, Underoath, and beyond that.
Any suggestions?

Erm, they aren't really emo or posthardcore at all, but whatever.

I think you mean "generic new pop-punk with screaming" :p

123.

If you want good emo with screaming on it:

Circle Takes The Square, Saetia, Hot Cross.

or without:

Heroin, Hot Water Music

And good post-hardcore with no screaming as I don't know any with screaming:

Fugazi, Husker Du.

As people have said, none of the bands mentioned in the thread are really post-hardcore or emo. But some generic, screamy stuff you might dig:

What is 'post hardcore'. I've heard many different definitions and none of them make any sense. Some say it's stuff like ATDI and others say it's Alexisonfire.

It's a really wide genre. I don't quite understand it fully myself. It's band that take hardcore and branch out to make it more complex than traditional hardcore. I used to consider really spacy bands that used ambient picking lines, lots of guitar effects like Hopesfall, On The Might Of Princes, Glassjaw, mewithoutYou, Thursday, new Finch, Marigold, new Thrice, etc. But I think I think the correct definition is bands like Quicksand, In Pieces and Fugazi who are basically hardcore bands that have their qwerks. The bands I mentioned earlier aren't really very hardcore.

The only band that I like in the Post-Hardcore genre is Blindside.
