What kind of thing should I get just to put into my computer to record and stuff?
And it adds drum beats and **** like that.
Thanks for any help.

The easiest (as well as cheapest) way would be with a microphone. If you have a small amp, bring it near your computer. Put the microhphone in front of it. Play.
There are also more complex, and better quality recording systems that can run directly into your computer. Those can be very costly though.
There are a lot of programs available to add drum beats. One in particular, that I know is well liked amongst most people is called Fruity Loops.

there is a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter at radio shack that will fit your cable into the mic plug on your soundcard. 4.95 here.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ is the software for it.

Ever heard of the Line 6 Tone Port?
It is the single greatest device ever conceived for home recording, and it's ridicuously cheap.

buy a usb interface a couple of condenser mics and a mic preamp and then put cool edit pro on your computer not the best but easy to use and it does the job
