i got 2 chelos one chinesse and one scotish the scotish its really good, has real good sound i dont play to much chelo i prefer to play violin but chelo is one of the instruments i use to play when i dont play violin, its good deal, also like double bass and viola , even sax
but i only have 3 years with chelos

I really want a Cello to play. I can play bowed upright bass, so I should think it shouldn't be much of a turnaround to learn Cello.
