References to Blue?

Can someone explain all the references to "Blue" on kind of blue, like "Blue in Green" "All Blues" ? I haven't figured this out yet

i had a think about i the other day. not really, i just thought that would make me sound like an interesting and agreeable kind of guy.

i think that 'blue in green' is called so because the chord progresion of the piece is a modified blues progression thus making is kind of a disguised blues, and 'all blues' is based on a popular variation on the blues chord progression.

anyone else got any ideas?

Well I know the album is called kind of blue, but i didn't know so many of the songs have a blues progression, i knew freddie freeloader was 12 bar blues. thx guys.

upon second lok at blue in green.. ive changed my mind, i cant find that much in it related to vblues progression... perhpas the titled refers it to being a 'blue' song (sad), butbeing composed of chords and melody not seen in blues... ????

blue is in green, green cant exist without blue (but the contrary IS true), maybe that is the direction the title was going in?? likewise the yellow in green could be observed....
