I love Milo Goes to College, the rest of their stuff is kinda patchy. Milo has some cool basslines.

My favorite song is Sour Grapes, or maybe Hope.

Cool To Be You was like one of the first 20 punk songs i heard, i have "I Don't Want To Grow Up" i love it. I've heard good things about "Milo Goes To College", Ill probaly get it. Awesome band.

Billy (their drummer) is really good. You can hear his awesomeness mostly on Black Flag records from My War to their last album.

Billy (their drummer) is really good. You can hear his awesomeness mostly on Black Flag records from My War to their last album.

Bill Stevenson is my favorite drummer (along w/ Josh Freese). He is pretty sick. Some critque(sp?) was reviewing one of the Black Flag albums hand called Bill a 'drum orge' and Rollins thought it was a compliment haha. So now thats the name of Bill's website. Anyways... Milo Goes To College and Everthing Sucks are both amazing albums. Cool To Be You wasnt as good imo, but still a solid album.

Milo Goes to College is one of my favorite albums; it's amazing from start to finish. Bonus Fat is also really good to listen to, but I can't say I enjoy their later stuff so much.

Oh man, I've heard alot of songs and own the 'Merican 7" but I still haven't gotten a cd. I think I'll go buy Two Things at Once pretty soon because it's got my two favorite songs, Kabuki Girl and I Like Food

Their first album is absolutely awesome. Some of their 'middle aged' stuff is weak but still good. The 2004 record is also awesome.

Everything Sucks is my favorite album of theirs, with "College" a close second.

Like the Bouncing Souls, one of the few bands I feel like I grew up with with each album release

Suburban Home is pretty cool..but I heard a pretty awful cover of it on this Tony Hawk game by some emo band. But luckily they had California Uber Alles on the soundtrack to clean my ears.

It's kind of funny though, because it's sort of a medley with I Like Food near the end. There's also an excellent TSOL cover with Alkiline Trio, but that's for another thread...

I like the Senses Fail cover, and they aren't emo.

I don't see how anycone can prefer ES over Milo goes to college, Milo... is such a good album.

The cover is by Taking back sunday. I think they did an okay job covering it. I find it hard to see the magic in that song though, kind of boring.

the funny part is that it sounds the same pretty much. Taking Back Sunday is a good band anyway and they are not really emo in my opinion and they actually did a good medley cover with Suburban Home/ I like Food. I like food being the best wasted 15 seconds ever.

The entire soundtrack isn't as bad as people make it out to be. A lot of people just judged on the playlist and didn't take in consideration the bands could change their sound for the songs, as most did and did a pretty good job. The Taking Back Sunday cover is really well done.

I was just about to say this also Nick. I would almost say I like Rise Againsts cover of Fix Me better than the original.

One guitar player for The Descendents, I say "one guitar player" because I don't know much about them and don't know if they have more than one guitarist. But anyway, one guitar player for them works at the local guitar center. (tulsa)

Agreed. I got the game and I was surprised when I didn't hear what I expected.
But "Teenagers From Mars" was terrible.

Favorite Descendents song: Bikeage! Very mellow and slightly depressing.
