I have "Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul" on vinyl, and it's a terrific album...he does two Sam Cooke covers, and pulls them off very well (even "A Change Is Gonna Come", which I was skeptical about because I love the original so much)

I love his stuff. If you want my thoughts, you know where to find (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?reviewid=1703) them (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?reviewid=2892).

Someone (Livewired I think) sent out The Dock of the Bay a few days ago, really good stuff. Great soul singer. I also really like his cover of Satisfaction, but I don't own that album.

Quite a talent. Too bad he died so young.
It's a shame that "Dock of the Bay" is about the only thing you'll hear by him on the radio. He recorded many other excellent songs, virtually none of which get any radio airplay.

The Dock Of The Bay is one of the best soul albums ever made, no question.
