Who filled out a quote for a bass and didn't get a response from me yet. I've been trying to figure out all the requests and which ones I didn't reply to. It's been tough since alot of them came in while I was on my deployment.

If you are still interested in a quote, please go to my web site and fill out another request.

One IMPORTANT thing....Please put an email address on there. If you don't I'll have no possible way to reply and I'll just delete the request.

I didn't.

But besides a free bump, how can you describe your onboard EQ? Does it solely add and boost or does it also colour the sound a bit like some pre-amps do? And how much does it cost then?

I'm not going to buy one soon though, but pre-amps caught my interest lately :)

No problem. Because of the way the site is, it doesn't automatically give me your email address.:thumb:

jp, i havent sent a request but here's something that might help.

http://www.dot.tk

You can register your own .tk name there for free, which might be an easy way for customers and future customers to remember the site name.

It just forwards the site they put in to http://members.tripod.com/winterscustom/

So you could probably have http://www.wintercustoms.tk etc.

A lot of patience.

I may try one some day. I just have to get radius blocks big enough to do the extra wide fretboard.

It would help you so much more if you could get a form that totaled labor and equipment for you. Many people are probably just interested in your prices not necessarily ready to purchase. If you got a form that could tally the price of the hardware, electronics, basic body, neck, and fretboard wood and labor that would help you out tremendously. All you'd have to do then is respond to quotes for special\intricate designs or quotes that request a strip of xyz down the neck and bvc down the body, etc... IF someone requests pickups that you don't have the price for, offer a field for them to enter the price of the pickups that way you don't have to hunt them down.

I'm not going to buy one soon though, but pre-amps caught my interest lately :)

It has bass, mid, treble, frequency, and bandwidth controls. It will colour the sound.

The price if you get it on one of my basses at the time of construction it $100. If I just sell it to add on to another bass, it's $150. There's also rack mount and floor pedal versions available.
