Alright, I recently got introduced to the Coral, and they're so fantastically upbeat and cheery, and they obviously enjoy what they're doing
It's made alot of stuff I listen to / write look depressing in comparison
Can someone name some other great upbeat bands that I could listen to?!

Probably the best advice you could be given in this sort of situation. Undoubtedly the happiest group of 8 to walk this planet since the time of the dinosaurs, you can't really listen to them without feeling great about whatever you're doing, whether it be playing music, jumping around, or contemplating suicide.

I consider alot of Sigur Ros to be happy music, as long as you stay away from (), that is. Wouldn't consider it upbeat, however...

Architecture In Helsinki are actually an 8-piece from Melbourne, contrary to what their title may suggest. And live, they are really phenomenal, if they don't cheer you up, nothing will.
