I hope this is the right place to put this...
Dave (Once_A_Bassist) and I are trying to figure out how to provide members on his forum with choices of skins to use. I can only change them to default skins as an Admin one at a time. So, members don't get a choice. Obviously I'm not holding my mouth right, or some damn thing.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks.

I don't think invision has that option?

Which version of the software are you using?

Yes, they do.
Which version of the software are you using?
I'd imagine it's the newest version, let me check.

If it's the newest version, then I'm sure there's a skin changer for everyone to use in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

But the problem that we're having is making the skins available to the members. They're available to us, but we can't figure out how to get them available to members.

Oh right. Hm, I haven't encountered that problem before. Whenever I had installed a skin, it had automatically been avaliable to everyone else. I'll just check in my admin panel.

In the option where the users would pick the skin, there is only one option.
We're trying to figure out how to add more then that one option.

I visit a forum on IPB where you can change the skin, I think it's a hack you need to download and add to the server.

I think 'advertising' my site here is against the TOS, but none the less..

I wasn't advertising it, I was hoping he could go look at it and tell us how it's done. :)

So unlike here on MX where we can choose any skin, your forum only has the skin you choose, with no option to each individual member? That's weird. Wish I could help.

The one I moderate on has one skin that the admin chooses.
There are no options for individual forum users to change the skins themselves, I don't mind because I like the skin the admin has chosen.

If you're a member you get a drop down list to choose a skin...only the only choice it gives you is the current default skin...
Is Wish online?

A crayon is not an option, John.
But :-* anyway.
To Rudigerz2: How do I check for the version?

I e-mailed Josh yesterday but he hasn't replied. : /
