nice, I almost bought that ride too, it was a close battle between it and the K custom ride, but the k won because of it's bell, it's stick definition, and it's price ^^ (which is weird because you'd think sabians would be cheaper here in canada)

anyways looking forward to hearing that thing! I know they don't all sound the same so maybe the one I tried was a dud or a crappy sounding one cause the only thing that i liked about it was it's bell.

did you get a good price on it? new or used? i think it was priced 234.99$ where i shop

-TheGlassPrison-
01-01-2006, 07:12 PM
150$.
Used, bairley though.
He's throwing in a wuhan ride too, so i'll sell that off to the highest bidder.

I don't play much double ride stuff there (I just recently got my second ride in), but in our future recordings I will, as I got some better drum mics that pick up the ride cymbals better.

Thanks. I used a fostex vf 80 recorder with a peavey mixer and 3 samson mics, I've since upgraded to an audix 7 piece fusion package, and learned alot more about recording. I just recorded with the levels too high, that was the problem. Also, my guitarist has the worst distortion pedal ever, boss death metal distortion, the gain isn't even adjustable, makes him sound horrible.

I saw your recording setup in your thread, so I thought it might have been too high of levels, hence the clipping. But the Primus one sounds really good.
